This is a must-see in Moscow. The place where GUM is located was a busy sales center as early as the 17th century. In late 19th century, the present-day building was built on the old shopping street. Three aisles of the new building consisted of splendid salons selling all kinds of goods. During the Soviet period, the GUM building for a long time was used for other purposes, but since 1953 it has been the largest department store in Russia. Now it is a bustling shopping mall with famous brands such as Bosco, MaxMara, Levi’s, Benetton, Nafnaf, Sisley, Articoli and RedCode, among others.
