Moscow Metro System
The Metro is the fastest and cheapest way to get around the city and isn’t
difficult to navigate. Stations are marked outside with big red ‘M’
signs. Magnetic tickets are sold at ticket booths for one or more rides.
Each ride is 7 rubles, unless you buy in bulk.

Bus, Trolleybus, Tram
Tickets, or talony, cost 10 rubles and up and can be purchased from the
driver of the vehicle, street kiosks and sometimes in Metro stations.
Marshrootkas
Mini-bus taxis that follow set paths. They’re faster than buses
and cheaper than taxis, 10-30 rubles, and can be easily hailed near bus
stops. A list in the window of the van shows possible stops, but you have
to tell the driver to pull over at your destination.
